Sometimes it’s hard to know how to start an art journal, but be warned, when you overcome the resistance it can become addictive…
“I had this notebook in which I planned to do something creative and art-like every day. Day after day I was looking for inspiration, for something to fill the page with. And the road has led me to blogs about art journaling and I have become excited and obsessed with it. So this page is the first (double) page showing my naive entry into art journaling. Bear with me and my ignorance. But I love it and I want to know everything about it.” (Click on the image to view larger)

Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. I am introducing a Sketching/journaling class in September and am looking for lots of good resources for my students. I plan to check out your blog too. This looks like a fantastic start.
